Holiday Wishes

Hi everyone,


I just can't believe that it is Christmas eve already! I hope everyone is waiting so patiently for Santa Claus to come tonight. I have been tracking Santa and know that he has already been to visit some of our friends. I hope that they have a great time opening their presents in the morning.



I have recieved so many cards in the mail and at my email and I would love to thank you for sending them, Mom has them on display at her house.

I am also happy to announce that Nelli from the Cat from Hell has given me the Liebster award, and Finn from Finn Howard has given me the Kreativ Blogger award. I will post more about those in the new year but thank you so very much.

I send warm wishes and hugs to The Pittie Pack from Kissa-bul who will be going through their first christmas without 5 members of their pack. I hope they know that Rainbow Bridge is kind to those called before their time. My thoughts are with them at this time. I am also amazed at how much blogville has organized to help them through this horrible time.

Best wishes to all my friends this year, I hope that Santa Claus treats you and your families well.

Icky Licky Cards

I made Mom lick all the cards otherwise my tongue would have gotten sore so she licked about 70 of them before she realized that a paint brush and water would have done the trick. I apolgize if she drooled on your cards I think her tongue was stuck out after so many.

We did our best to make sure that everyone on the list recieved a card no matter how far away they lived. Although after Mom recieved the bill, we might be doing e-cards next year. We even sent some cards very very far away......all the way to the North Pole.

That's right we mailed my aunt and uncle's cards with their christmas lists. I don't believe they wrote anything about cat toys or treats on their lists for me though. Maybe if I blog my own list then Santa will know what to bring me for christmas......dreaming of toys and treats and MILK

I've been busy

Yes, yes I have been very busy lately

Ok maybe Mom has been very busy lately writing out seasons greetings cards for our card exchange. She thinks itis so neat to see where all the bloggers are from. Personally with all the cold wet weather we have been getting, I'm thinking of sending myself along with cards destined for the south.

Mom keeps telling me that maybe I should take over writing for a change but seeing as I have to share MY cards with all those other pests...opps I meant pets she has, then I don't think so.

Mom says our cards should hopefully be finished by this weekend and then mailed out to all of our friends and new friends. We recieved our very first card from Minnie and Mack it even included their picture and their blog info so that we could be friends. My goodness their Mom must be on the ball with their cards for sure. I will be making note of this for Mom's ratings. (failure to make cards faster)

Anyways we hope hope that you all had a great thanksgiving and enjoyed nickleback at the football game, they are canadian you know. We will be slowly commenting and blogging until Mom finishes cards and school. Thanks for understanding Mom's inability to do everything at once, sheesh she thinks she needs sleep or something.

Oh No....Snow!

Well I went outside for my daily excursions and THIS is what I saw

Luckily it didn't stay too long and I could go out quite happily but my goodness that weather is getting awfully chilly. I'm not looking forward to January weather that is for sure. All this -5 degrees celcius is enough for me.

I would like to say sorry we have been doing lots of reading but no commenting or regular posting. Mom's semester is just winding up now she is finished in about 3 weeks. We did join the Christmas Card Exchange and are excited to be recieving and sending cards to all of our friends and hopefully making some new ones too!

Monday Book Review

Mom and I were very suprised when we were contacted by Random House Publishers to do a book review on their brand new book Awkward Family Pet Photos by Mike Bender and Doug Chernack. We have never done a book review before so this was pretty exciting. Many of you know that Mom and I like to do some pretty funny and strange pictures.



Of course when it came time for me to pose with the book, I wasn't going to do it no way no how. I mean its embarrassing enough when Mom posts horrible pictures of me. Check out what she does with the dogs:

So I planned my escape when Mom came over to visit with the book, luckily she left it with me so that I could look it over after she left. I just couldn't believe how many other pets were unfotunate to have such horrible run ins with that flashy beast. I though we bloggers were the only ones who had crazy peoples turns out there are lots of them out there. I'm just so happy that Mom doesn't do twin pictures with me although I'm sure that this book gave her lots of crazy ideas!

This book hit book stores on November 1st and we have our copy out for friends to read!

Overall we give it 4 paws out of 5 for being a great coffee table book to flip through.

Freaky Friday

I have been hearing around the block that Monday is a special day for the little monsters. In fact it appears to be the most perfect day for them. Grandma has put up some decorations and bought some special treats. Mom tells me that I better go into hiding that the monsters will be out in full force.

I might steal a peek at the door to check out these monsters before I run away, if they are anything like the monsters I know!

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope that all my Canadian friends had a wonderful thanksgiving!

Mom and I are thankful for lots this year and hope that next year continues so nicely.

I am so happy to hear that all my friends survived Irene. I hope you all are not too wet and that your humans remember to give you extra snuggles and pats for being brave! The only thing that we got here was wind and clouds but no rain.

I have been busy hunting and I brought Grandma a bird that she clearly didn't apprciate.

Then she muttered something about bird feeders or whatever.

ps. we just heard about Captain Ripley and Thor passing over the bridge. I really liked Captain Ripley and he taught me many lessons about how to treat the dogs around me. I know that Thor is a great friend of Mango's and I have heard nothing but good about him.

School's out for summer

Yeah yeah, I know you are all thinking but Blair summer is almost over. Well my Mom is finally over her crazy summer of school and work. She gets a three week break until she starts college again but at least then it shouldn't be so hectic!

Of course this means visiting and commenting on all your blogs again! I have missed being able to visit everyone and leave comments. Thank you all for commenting on my blog even when I haven't been able to comment on yours.

I have been missing everyone so much and maybe a combination of my diet food and summer that I have lost tons of weight. I'm no longer a fatty kitty anymore in fact I'm a skinny minny.

I should also clarify that it was Mom's email/ computer with the virus but we think we healed it without having to take it to the computer VET.

Speaking of VET, I should be having a visit soon. Mom says I need to be updated on my shots and maybe get a look over cause my eyes are a little runny plus I was sick to my tummy a couple times in the last few weeks which never happens to me. I'm not really a fan of going to the VET, somebody seems to think I fit into the teensy weensy puppy cage that I got when I was a kitten. We shall see this time!

Let me see here

Well I'm going to be working on these cords all weekend to get the computer up and running properly. Mom has a virus, and she says that if it isn't fixed soon we might have to take the computer into the VET! Hopefully our cousin's helpful tips will fix our computer because we get back to my regular blogging schedule next week!

Miserable Monday

Well I hate to inform you that my Mother is still swamped,

so this means barely any visiting this week too!

Someone should inform her that her attempts to work full time and complete fulltime school

at the same time are wreaking havoc with my blog.

It even cuts in on her visiting time with me!

Anyways moving on to more important information, we are still running my Beach Bum Contest,

Beach Bum Contest Update

Hey everybody, I know that I have been seemingly absent from the blogging world. After last week's break from the world, Mom is now piled under a mountain of homework to get done. So we have decided to extend my Beach Bum Contest for one more week! This means that all you cats and dogs who want to enter can still do so!

Just one this week

Yep just one post this week, poor Mom has had the sickies all week and no internet in her bedroom. She finally made it out of bed today and is feeling good enough to post for me. We did have a few chances to read posts this week and you helped make Mom feel better with all your great rescue news, posts on how to stay cool, and funny adventures.

Well Mommy has been to see the future king and queen!

I know that some of my friends were very upset that their invites to the royal wedding were lost in the mail. So I'm sure you will enjoy the pictures that Mom took even though they are not journalism perfect they do show you a great view.
