Upgrades and Happy New Year

We just upgraded to google+ so please bear with us as Mom figures it out. We have also added another blog to our list, Mom is now the writer and co-writer of 3 blogs. She now also writes at just-journey.blogspot.com which will be a chronicle of her time in the months up to and during her trip to Australia.

Mom and I have also been discussing the future of my blog. I am sure that you all have noticed a lack of posts and comments in the past few months. We have just been enjoying reading about you all. We have come to the decision that as of June when Mom leaves that my blog will be taking a whole years hiatus. After that we will be deciding what will happen in the future. Of course we will not stop reading or enjoying your posts!

Bird Hunting

Are birds even in season? No idea but I am spending my days underneath Grandma's bird feeder. She says that she is soon going to have to stop feeding the bird because I am killing 2 or 3 a week now.

Mom took me and Jack (her home cat) to the vet together last weekend. 

I was full of hisses, growls and yowls!

That awful vet lady even poked me in the bum 4 times, just for 2 needles. Mom held my head so I couldn't tell her what I thought of her but I certainly muttered under my breath loudly.

Mom just said something about a new camera for christmas.

A Summer Away

I spent the summer away because Mom was crazy busy and wasn't really into posting. We are back for now but we shall see how it goes. Check out Mom's blog for Australia updates and pictures of the crazies dogs she lives with.

I have kept busy with Grandma hunting and sleeping. I have even started bringing Grandma back some presents but she doesn't really appreciate the gesture.  I like to put them right at the door so she can't miss them.

I even missed Mom a little bit and was all photogenic when she came to visit. Here are some recent pictures:

Missing Mango

Today we interrupt our blogging hiatus to post about Mango. He was one of our first blogger friends and helped us blog a lot. We are forever grateful for him introducing us to his followers and befriending us.

We know his Momma will be missing him a lot and even Dexter will miss his slobbers. He will forever be in our hearts too.

My Apologies

I do apologize for disappearing for weeks on end but I have been busy straightening my furs, bathing and having fun nights out.

Don't worry even if I do find a man cat there will be no kittens for this gal! I even went away for a few days...all on my own...it gave Grandma quite the fright to tell Mom. I did come back though so don't get all panicky.

 Perhaps I should leave a note next time?

Nickname Game

Hi all Sarge is having a fun contest called the nick name game. I have lots of nicknames like world's most beautiful cat, pretty little princess, gorgeous girl, best cat ever.....Oh I guess he means nick names that my Mom has for me.

And there are rules, according to Sarge...dun dun dun.

Modelling

As many of you know modelling is hard work, and the camera is always in your face; when you are sleeping, eating, bathrooming.

Of course payment is necessary for all this work...petting just doesn't count. TREATS are the going rate for modelling work.

I am thinking we may need to put together a union to get better pay, no more petting and more treats!

Lazy-itis

Yes my poor Mom has had a serious case of lazy-itis. I do hope she will be feeling better soon. In the meantime I will still be reading and eating my food.

Upon A Snowy Morning

Yes, you read my title correctly. Today is a snowy morning and it is almost may! Mom read a funny post on Facebook that said "Welcome to Canada where the forecast is made up and the seasons don't matter". It seemed very fitting for today.

Since today is a weather write off I though I would spend the day catching up on sleep. It is rather irritating having to wake Grandma up at 11:00 to let me inside and then again at 3:00 to let me outside. I definitely need to catch up.

I have been super busy while Mom was pretending to do homework. I think she just doodled a lot and played with little kids. She tried to tell me that playing with kids was a job but honestly it sounds a lot like subjecting yourself to inhumane torture.

She did manage to bring some treats by, a redeeming quality I must say.

She then blabbered on about school which I tuned out, and only caught the last little bit about me getting back to blogging, so here I am. finally.

Mom and I are reading and seeing that we even have new followers but we are struggling to find time to post since Mom is reaching the end of her school semester. We hope to be back once she gets the majority of her school work finished.

In Memory of a Smile

We had some sad news here yesterday. A friend of Mom's was in a car accident and died. Mom is having a hard time and I am going to dedicate this post to her. Mom needs some smiles and reading your blogs is helping. Mom wrote a tribute post to her friend here if you would like to read it.

NEW UPDATE- we interrupt your weekend to announce...

Mom has been working all night like crazy on our blogs. Mostly on hers but my big news is that,

MY EMAIL ADDRESS HAS CHANGED

To be honest I was not a fan of gmail, especially since I had to log out of blogger to access it. Mom and I didn't realize it would be such a pain to to that. So we changed my email address to one at hotmail. Mom is a big fan of how easy hotmail is to use and has set up her own blog account as well as her personal account with them. Who knows why she needs two accounts all on her own!?

Yep it is the same as my old one just at hotmail instead of gmail.

We have set up forwarding on my gmail account however we will be shutting it down in the coming months so please change my contact information on your emails.
