Mom checked the mail box this week and we found Jack's book

It was so exciting, I couldn't wait to start it

OK maybe it happened once before but honestly I didn't chew on Jack's Book

Naughty Kitty Lessons- Day One

Welcome to your first class of Naughty Kitty Lessons

I, Blair will be holding Naughty Kitty Lessons on Fridays, there will be 8 lessons to attend

and after you have completed all lessons you will obtain a certificate to post on your blog or to print out and hang in your office.

Now then for our first lesson we will be covering the basics;

• bathing



• shedding



• meowing



• scratching

For those of you wondering about my qualifications, one it is too late in the lesson you should have asked before joining my class and two talk to my mother.

Alrighty then lets talk about bathing, you should always bathe yourself when in company of lots of people and of course the flashy beast. I personally enjoy bathing when my Mom is laying in her bed, right next to her, snuggled up of course.

Shedding goes hand in hand with bathing if you bathe yourself enough you should encourage lots of hair shedding especially in the spring. You should always rub yourself on your humans when they are wearing white or black.

Meowing is a great tool to make your humans do as you please. If you meow enough they will do anything to make it stop. Always talk lots and talk loud even if you don't need anything.

Scratching should only happen on furniture, bedspreads, and on your humans. You should always keep sharp nails just in case of times when you are being forced to go to the V-E-T or other such occasions.

Ugh I tried so hard to get my Mom to take good pictures

I tried holding the toy in front of the camera but it was no use, so I just took it away from her

Luckily she remembered to pay me in milk

Vacations and Glamour Shots

I'm not sure why everyone around here gets to go on vacations but me. I always get left behind, this time my Grandma is leaving me. She is going on a super fun cruise ship that will stop in the Dominican, Haiti and other cool places. But the best part is that it will be sunny and warm, ugh.

Lucky for me, I don't have a pet sitter just my Mom! She is coming over to check up on me today AND we will be having a photo shoot. I get to be the model of course and she gets to be the camera lady. Perhaps my pictures will turn out as nice as the ones that Puddles's Mom takes. Maybe if I dangle treats in front of my Mom she will take good pictures. I will post them up later!

I hope that all my friends have a great St. Patty's day.

Mom is feeling kind of sappy.......and remembers today as the day that I helped her to foster Bullit. He was kind of an okay guy not that I was sad or anything when he left. Or even looked around the apartment for him. Totally not my style! Anyways please buy a drink or two or three in honor of our first adventure in fostering, I say first cause I know that once Mom moves out of her Mom's house that we will be fosting again.

Tips for Being Naughty

I have begun to mentor some young kitties in blogland

OK OK

I have been encouraging young Darcy and little Muesli to become naughty kitties just like ME

TIP 1: Sharpen your claws all the time on whatever is available

TIP 2: Bring toys to play with in your humans bed in the middle of the night

TIP 3: Throw yourself against doors to open them

TIP 4: Pretend you want outside by meowing lots and then walk away after your human opens the door

TIP 5: Wait outside every closed door that your humans are behind to trip them as they come out

Hmmm this teaching and mentoring thing is quite fun, perhaps I will begin naughty lessons every week for all the young kitties in blogland of course dogs may be able to learn a thing or two as well.

Mom and I entered Jack's book contest to win Jack's book with his pawtograph and we won

I can't wait to snuggle up with her and read his book.

It has been a most exciting day today

ps. Please excuse Mom's lack of proper blog eat- a -kit, clearly she needs to learn from Puddles and Frankie about replying to my friends on their blog instead of just reading. She went on about being busy with work and all the kids straining her mentals. And that the Rat sorry Sophie just got spayed. We are very much enjoying your blogs though!

Dear Mister Weather Man,

I am writing to complain about your weather.

It seems as though you have put a LAKE in my yard and a POOL in my basement.

I'm not impressed.

If you could puuuulllllease tidy up your little messes that would be great.

Power of the Paw

Some of my Mom's blog friends are really in need of some paw power.

You see with all the wet weather lately,their house flooded!

All of the humans were able to get out, along with most of the pets.

Sadly they were not able to save all of their pets.

Now they are having even more problems on top of losing their house and all of their things.

They are having troubles finding places for their pets and themselves to stay.

If anyone can help them, please let them know soon.

And please cross your paws for them to have some good luck coming their way

If you look really closely you will notice a spot on the wall where a picture normally goes

Grandma tried to blame the missing picture on me

But there is no way that my gentle walking would make the picture fall off the wall and break

I mean maybe if I was running, but seriously I would never run in the house
