Holiday Break

Hi Everyone Mommy says that I have to take a break over the holidays since she is soo busy with christmas and being an honorary auntie. I think that this makes me a new cousin, it is all pretty exciting. But the new baby came three weeks early so he has to stay in the NICU since he is super small. Mommy will be spending lots of time at the hospital with her friend and little Cohen. Please cross your paws that he is able to go home soon!

What's In A Name?

As you all know my Mommy had picked a name before I came home to live with her. Well it was down to two names Blair, or Lexi, or some other name since one of the roommates didn't like either. Mommy liked Blair since it was from her favourite show Gossip Girl,

Blair Waldorf is an Upper Eastside girl from NYC, who is smart, scheming and sulky just like a kitty cat.

Mommy thought that it would be the perfect name for me as soon as she met little me.

The name Blair fits me just like ole cinderelly's shoe fit her!

Rebellion

Now I have been looking over my posts and realized that many of you are going to think I am a nice kitty. Gosh I realized that I share stories about myself, write on people's blog, talk nice to dogs, I'm turning into a big old sap!

Quick Puddles bring the beer you stashed in the laundry basket today and come over!

We must drink all the beers and be super rowdy til the policemens come and tell us to turn the party music down!!!

There now that should do it, I'm bad again thank goodness.

Ps. I should also mention that I have been working hard on training Grandma, she has proved to be harder to train than my Mom and the roommates. But I managed to do it, she now brings me treats every time I come inside, I mean every time, gives me milk every day, opens the door to go outside for me when ever I want even at 3am.

First Mommy and I would like to thank Mango for mentioning me on his blog post today. It was so very nice of him to introduce me to all of his friends. And then we would like to thank every one who stopped by to visit, I have made lots of new friends today. I have started watching...I mean following everyone that commented on my blog.

I wanted to let you all know in case you get confused that I allow my Mommy have her own blog (so she doesn't hog mine) so make sure to visit her at Journey of Footprints. Flashback Friday

I have decided to do flashback friday today to a slimmer self. Mom and Grandma are going to start limiting my treats and milk. GASP. They think I'm ggggaining WEIGHT! It is unbelievable, me gaining weight, what a horrible thought. I go outside to exercise everyday, I guess I will be adding more running to my exercise now.

WHITE STUFF

WHAT THE HECK IS ALL THIS WHITE STUFF?!

So I used to be an indoor cat when I lived with Mom and the roomies, and they used to get all excited over this white stuff. Not me, I prefered to sleep on their nice warm laptops making them over heat while they were away playing.

Now this year I'm an indoor outdoor kitty who is not impressed with all of this which fell overnight! Thats right no warning at all....

Yay

My Grandma is finally home, and I can go back to my normal routine. I missed her tons, and staying in the house all the time was super boring. I think we plan on decorating the house for christmas soon, I can't wait to show it to you all!

My Adoption and Present's Post

Happy Thanksgiving to all my american friends,

My Adoption Story: One day my mommy was talking with her roommates about getting another pet. She wanted a kitty since her special Gem kitty had died the year before.

Of course the roommates agreed like they always did to her CRAZY ideas.

So she started looking at the humane society and on kijiji.ca, for a pretty kitty who would catch her eye. My meow mommy's owners had posted me on kijiji.ca with my brothers and sisters for free. My mommy emailed my meow mommy about me asking all kinds of questions. Finally she decided that I was the one for her.

My mommy didn't have a car at school so she took the bus ALL THE WAY TO QUEBEC to come see me and called her friend to pick her up with me. I knew she was perfect as soon as she snuggled me, she told me that my new name was going to be Blair. YEP THAT'S RIGHT I'M A FRENCHIE KITTY. Now this "friend" called to say they couldn't come pick us up and now my mommy was stuck with me. She coudn't take me on the bus so my meow mommy's owners drove us to my new home.

Here I am in my new home,

I used to speak french with one of my roommates since Mom doesn't speak it. I sometimes yell at her in french but she gets mad when I say hbo words because she understands those ones.

This was Delilah she moved out not long after I moved in. Mommy gave her to a little girl since we didn't get along very well.

And now for my present part of the post: I know my mommy doesn't have a good flashy beast anymore so I think I will get her a new one for christmas. Then my modelling shots might get 1 good picture in 5 instead of 1 in 30!

When I grow up,

I want to be a model, just look at these lovely modelling shots Mom and I did tonight when she came to visit me.

Get me down, get me down!

Not Again

Now listen to this first Grandma went away for a week, then Mom, and now Grandma is leaving me home alone AGAIN. The worst part is they never bring me anything back from their trips. Grandma is going away for a whole week on a bus trip to the great US of A. I told her that I wanted to go too and be the first kitty to travel all over the country by bus. I gave her my please Grandma eyes,

Buuuuuut then she reminded me of all the trips I had taken in cars and well lets just say I'll be much happier at home. My Mom is going to come visit me and let me outside during the day, we will also be doing some modelling shots with the lovely cell phone camera. It must be the time of year for cameras to break because Mom's kicked the bucket.

Frankie and Minna k I will be working on my poses to go along with my awesome adoption and present posts. I can't wait to tell everyone the story of MY gotcha day you will never ever believe it! And my Mom's gift is going to be purrfect for her!

Treats

I love food, especially treats. In fact I have sometimes been known to break into the treat cupboard and eat an entire bag of treats in one sitting.

My favourite kind of treat is

I just love all the flavours and they are so easy to open although Mom keeps saying that when I open them from the bottem when she isn't looking they don't save as long.

Mom taught me to sit nicely for my treats when she is handing them to me. I also take them gently with my teeths.

Sometimes I have to meow at her to get them to me faster.

Just Laying Around

It has been pretty boring without Grandma here to let me outside, so Mom and I did a photo shoot to show just how bored I am.

See now this pose here clearly says, it sucks being stuck inside all the time.

Here I was in the middle of saying Mom why can't you just let me out? She said something along the lines of I wouldn't come back all day.

Fine then, another bowl of milk will do

I Heart Milk

I have to admit that one of my wee little minor obsessions is with milk, I absolutely love it. In fact my Mom has trained herself to never put down a cup of milk or a bowl of cereal or anything with milk in it because I may just help myself to a LITTLE bit, just a teensy little bit. Sometimes Mom gives me my own bowl of milk not very often though since it isn't exactly good for me. Today she came over to Grandma's house and while she was helping herself to some donuts and milk she poured a bowl for ME. It was so wonderful, I closed my eyes while drinking it all up.

Since my mother abandoned me ALL week I have unearthed these very condemning photo's of her torturing me during our time at the university.

And there I am cutest little kitten of all and my mother looks well hahahaha. Uhhhhh apparently Grandma is leaving and Mom is coming to stay with me.....nobody tell her about the last photo!

Vacation

Blair's Mom here, I tried to get some new photos of Blair for you all but she hasn't been cooperating. I went to Grandma's house and there was a message for me from Blair saying she wasn't holding court today for me since I am not taking her to Disney World and my being gone will ruin her blog since she can't post for a week. Hopefully she will be back to her normal self when I get back .

Catch Up Time

Sorry I haven't been able to post lately but Mom had the flu and didn't feel like typing and then she has been super busy. I couldn't convince Grandma to type for me so I was left to record my adventures in hopes I would someday soon get them to you.

Thanksgiving: My Aunty Elizabeth came over with all the rest of my family but SHE got out my special bag of good kitty treats. We hid from Mom and she fed me lots and lots and lots and lots. She is my favourite aunty now, I think that she should visit Grandma and I more often.

Grandma's Weekend Away: Grandma left me in charge of the house while she went away for a weekend to look at cranberries and crafts. Who wants to look at those things NOT ME. I was going to have a party and invite all my girlfriends but that darn Grandma locked the door, I couldn't even get out. Let me tell you, I was not impressed with her when she got back. I wouldn't even let her pet me.

Internet: Grandma is getting highspeed internet so maybe I can post more often and of course order all kinds of online shopping. Woo hoo treats and toys all delivered to my door, normally I have to send Mom or Grandma out with my list.

Anyways I didn't miss too much of the blogworld while I was away.

Now I'm a professional at being bad, Mom says it comes from being named after Blair from Gossip Girl but honestly who wants to be good, its way boring. But anyways I try to do at least 3 things on this list everyday although most of you couldn't do it.
